The collaboration between MOMO and Hot Wheels, brings racing and nostalgia together.

When car enthusiasts hear MOMO, they think racing products. The company was founded in 1964 by race car driver Gianpiero Moretti when he commissioned a local craftsman to produce a custom steering wheel for his own race car. This special steering wheel – the first steering wheel in the company’s history – had a superior grip compared to traditional race steering wheels of the time.

In the early days, MOMO’s parts production was limited to race cars, but in the 1970s, the company started broadening its horizons by developing new product lines. That is when it started the production of light alloy-wheels and steering wheels for road cars.

Automotive products are always evolving, and Momo wants to give enthusiasts the products they crave. Sometimes, those products are designed with a bit of nostalgia. Take for instance your first car. In honor of its 50th Anniversary, MOMO and Hot wheels have joined forces to create a limited edition MOMO X Hot Wheels steering wheel. Initially designed to exclusively outfit iconic Hot Wheels full-scale vehicles like the Bone Shaker and Rip Rod, this must-have collectible celebrates MOMO’s craftsmanship and the iconic artistry of Hot Wheels.

A limited number of these steering wheels will be made available to collectors and fans for a short time.
