Winners of NASA 2019 National Championships Presented By Toyo Tires

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) held its 2019 National Championships presented by Toyo Tires at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Over 300 racers from all across the United States traveled to Lexington, Ohio, to compete in 24 road racing classes and six time-trial classes to try to earn the title of National Champion. A special thanks goes out to Toyo Tires for putting together the video of this year’s Championships above!

Over 300 drivers descended upon Mid-Ohio to battle for a National Championship crown. The driver’s meeting was massive.

The event took place during four hard days of racing in September (19th-22nd) 2019. Thursday was testing, Friday was qualifying, Saturday held a qualifying race, and Sunday it was all on the line to become a National Champion. There was some great racing, some body damage, some tech-shed disqualifications, and the usual type of drama you expect from a top-tier race where money is on the line and National titles were awarded to the best of the best.

The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a flowing tricky road course in Lexington, Ohio, which was home to the 2019 NASA National Championships presented by Toyo Tires.

The racing was top-notch with teams from all over the country pushing each other to be faster and faster around Mid-Ohio during qualifying. Racers who never had the opportunity to go head-to-head before, from California to the Northeast, teams had the chance to see which part of the country breeds the fastest racers. All of the social media trash-talking ended on Sunday when the checkered flag dropped on 30 different racing and time trial classes to crown the 2019 National Champions.

Winners were treated to a podium complete with champagne spray and Toyo girls (who always got out of the way when the champagne came out).
