TITAN Fuel Tanks Offers NASA Members Significant Savings

One of the many struggles any grassroots racer constantly contends with is transportation logistics. Between loading their vehicles, finding accommodations, and managing a travel budget, they have a great deal to consider before they don their helmet. Though getting their car to and from the track is simplified somewhat by a trailer, even a tow rig relies on an enormous amount of fuel to cover the distances from track to track. When trying to minimize the amount of distractions in order to dedicate most of one’s focus to racing, it helps to have fewer fuel stops to make.

“Racers are road warriors; most travel tens of thousands of miles each year, track to track. The worst part of towing a large race trailer is having to stop for fuel, the time it takes, the hassle, and the headache of getting in and out of the gas station. We all hate it. What TITAN was founded on 17 years ago was to be able to go twice as far on a single fill up,” declares Mike DeFord, Marketing Director at TITAN Fuel Tanks.

TITAN’s tanks are distinguished from the opposition by the following traits:

TITAN’s tanks are designed for the common tow rigs from Dodge, Ford, GM, or Nissan.

Take the case of TITAN’s 60-gallon tank for the 2011-2016 Ford Crew Cab, Short Bed trucks which carries 34 more usable gallons than the stock tank. That quantity in a truck towing a 20,000-pound race trailer allows for 600 miles on a single fill. Considering how the average fuel stop requires roughly 26 minutes off the freeway, this means hours saved each race weekend.

Giving Back to the Dedicated Drivers

Recently, TITAN partnered up with NASA, one of the most appealing racing organizations in North America. Determining which organization to sponsor came as a result of interviewing 30,000 grassroots racers and the results made their choice an easy one. “Beyond the conclusive survey data, their membership numbers and the fact that race weekends are always at capacity, made our sponsorship of the series a no-brainer. In the end, NASA’s qualities make it possible for the average guy to get out on track and up to speed easily,” DeFord stated.

To help these racers out, TITAN’s robust fuel tanks are available to NASA members at a significant discount. All NASA members can get 20% off and free shipping, though they need to go through NASA to enjoy these savings.

Regardless of the discipline, racing is a game of resource management. Even before one gets on track and has to consider their tires, their brakes, and their fuel, they have to figure out how to get themselves and their racing equipment to the track. If the addition of a larger fuel tank allows the user a little more time and energy to dedicate to their performance on the track, its value is undeniable.
