Official Release:

Fast Civics need steering dynamics that can keep pace with their nimble performance on the track. Introducing the IDIDIT Performance Pro-Fab Lightweight Steering Column for 1988-’91 Honda Civic (EF) and CRX applications.

The ultra-lightweight race column weighs as little as 3 pounds, a significant weight savings over the factory column when equipped with a lightweight, quick-release steering hub and steering wheel. The Pro-Fab slides directly in place of the factory column and bolts directly to the factory mounting points and factory steering shaft.

“The IDIDIT Performance Pro-Fab Lightweight Steering Column is ideal for Honda drag race, autocross, road course and off-road racing applications, offering the rigidity and weight savings drivers need to get the most from their 1989-’91 Civic or CRX,” said Trever Cornwell of IDIDIT. “Offering previously untapped weight savings in an extremely rigid steering shaft, it is proudly made in the USA using precision laser cut and CNC machined components.”

The column comes equipped with an extended shaft that lets the installer trim to length and pair with an IDIDIT Performance quick-release steering hub and aftermarket steering wheel of their choosing, to tailor-fit the column to their needs.

Features:

  • Precision laser-cut tubing & brackets for superior fit & finish
  • Sealed upper ball bearing and Delrin lower bushing for smooth operation after years of abuse
  • Ultra-light aluminum tubing & brackets
  • Customizable for driver fit
  • Available in brushed aluminum finish
