Essex Releases Audi TTRS & RS3 Discs And Competition Brake Kits

New from Essex – the Audi TTRS & RS3 2-piece Discs & Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kits. These kits increase heat capacity and improve stopping power. See more details below.

Official Release:

The latest iterations of the Audi TT and RS3 are a major leap forward in overall performance vs. older models, but the OEM brakes aren’t quite living up to the expanded performance envelope. Owners who have tracked their cars have destroyed both the iron and the expensive optional front Carbon Ceramic brakes in short order, and that’s on otherwise stock cars. When you add more power and grip to these chassis, brake performance can become problematic in a hurry.

To dramatically increase your system’s heat capacity and drop an impressive 18 lbs. of unsprung weight from the nose, check out our Essex Designed AP Racing 2-piece J Hook Discs. We replace the OEM 370x34mm front discs with incredibly stout 372x34mm AP Racing J Hook discs that have 84 internal vanes. One of the greatest features of our discs is that they can later be converted into one of our complete competition brake kits.

Features:

  • Dramatically increase your system’s heat capacity
  • Drops an impressive 18 lbs. of unsprung weight
  • Can later be converted into complete competition brake kit
