Event Teaser: Goodguys Colorado Nationals Is A Can't-Miss Event

It’s official, not only is the car show season well underway, it’s actually getting close to end of another year for many. But, if you’re not ready to worry about the seasonal demise, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association will be throwing a party to remember. Each year, the Colorado Nationals swings through Loveland, and the weekend of September 7, 8, and 9, 2018 is another great weekend for the Goodguys’ event.

Lean, baby. Lean.

Each year, the event showcases some of the most amazing rides that Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Utah, and more have to offer. The gathering happens at The Ranch at Larimer County Fairgrounds, and typically, more than 2,000 classic trucks, hot rods, customs, classics, and muscle cars through 1987 fill the venue. There will be no shortage of available parts at the vendor and exhibitor booths, plus, there is a swap meet that is sure to have whatever you might need. As with all Goodguys events, you’ll also find a car corral with a bunch of potential projects for sale.

Not one to deliver just a stationary event, attendees and participants alike will witness some awesome displays of handling at the autocross event. Like all Goodguys happenings, there will be more activities and fun things to do than you can shake a stick at. For instance, there’s the “Nitro Thunderfest” vintage dragster exhibition, a specialty auto auction on Saturday, live music, a model-car show, special parking areas on Saturday, a free Kids Zone area, and so much more! The Colorado Nationals also welcomes late-model American-made or powered muscle cars, customs, and trucks on September 9^th for Spectre Performance All American Sunday!

You’ll want to get there early. There will also be a TGIF party held on Friday evening (starts at 6:00), and will once again take place at Pinkee’s Rod Shop. Every year, the Pinkee’s staff goes all out with food, beverages, live music, and a great open house so everyone can gather and enjoy a good time, before the official good time begins.
