For Sale: BMW E46 M3 US Touring Car Championship Season Winner

Coaching and running track days in Northern California, I’ve been fortunate enough to witness some of the gorgeous machines from Life’s Good Racing! They’re always beautifully prepared, always hold their own on the track, and they always make a wonderful noise. There’s one particular M3 of theirs — one which I’ve drooled over a few times — which is up for sale on Winding Road for just $35,000. Considering the car’s success, that’s an incredible bargain.

That high-pitched bark of the S54 engine, magnified by aftermarket headers and exhaust, when complemented by the uniquely raspy induction noise, is something that any enthusiast must hear at some point in their life. This 2002 BMW E46 M3 has all the necessary modifications to win consistently in the U.S. Touring Car Championship (USTCC) — where it’s been a regular front-runner, podium finisher, and class winner in 2015.

Build:

  • Built by Habberstad BMW of Huntington Station, New York, and Victory Racing (Cage). Personal car of dealer/owner and serviced by Habberstad BMW
  • Sunroof/moonroof deleted and new roof skin
  • Regular podium and runoff podium finisher in SCCA T2 East Coast until 2010
  • Stored in climate controlled garage

The car was purchased by Life’s Good Racing! in 2013 and campaigned in USTCC Touring Car Class.
