2019 SCCA Runoffs Race Videos Available For Streaming On SCCA.com

Though the three-day finale of the 2019 SCCA Runoffs already happened, there’s a way to witness the fierce competition today. The heated weekend at Virginia International Raceway finished off the 2019 SCCA® National Championship Runoffs with a bang — and it’s all available for viewing on SCCA.com. Additionally, select races from the 2019 Runoffs will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network in the coming months.

Being one of the most prominent and most respected grassroots events in North America, the SCCA Runoffs attracted quite a large field. From October 11th through October 13th, nearly 600 entries across 28 different car classes arrived at Virginia International Raceway to do battle around the 18-turn, 3.27-mile venue on the border of North Carolina and Virginia. It was the first time the SCCA’s National Championship was held in the serene setting.

This year’s 26 races featured were fiercely contested and anything but a procession. Fraught competition throughout the entire field, several shocks, weather changes, and uplifting plots meant great entertainment. With commentary led by the experienced Greg Creamer and a collection of supporting pundits, they left the viewer informed and more engrossed in the action than most broadcasters can. With assistance from Ryan Myrehn (SportsCar365 writer), Tom O’Gorman (Honda TCR ace), and Heyward Wagner (pit reporter), as well as Runoffs announcers Andy Hollis and Larry MacLeod, there was plenty of experience around to shed light on this thrilling weekend.

Any racer worth their salt puts a lot of stock in the Runoffs — arguably the largest grassroots event in the world of motorsports. So, tune in from the comfort of your own home to enjoy the winner-take-all, single-race format in high-resolution here.
