Pedders is known for their suspension performance products when it comes to musclecars, but what about imports or Euro? Angel Robles from Pedders had a lot to show us as they push into new markets and add products and provide options not yet seen in the marketplace. With expansion to Euro and JDM vehicles Robles tell us, “We’re making a big push in that area, we’ve been known traditionally for American Muscle/late model muscle but we’re looking at expanding the range and bringing over some of the existing products we already have in Australia. With that we’re focusing heavily on Euro, Subaru, and a bit of Nissan, Mazda, and others.”
“Our EzFit assembly’s which are a matched spring and shock with top mounts, boots. Everything you need, just remove your old stuff and pop the EzFit into place.” Pedders still offers the XA and remote reservoir coilover setups as well, but the EzFit provides a unique option not yet seen for many applications.
Angel made sure to emphasize that Pedders “approaches it from a holistic view. In order for these cars to work and be comfortable, and useful on the street in a real World environment they have to be able to maintain traction and be able to absorb those bumps in the road. Our tuning philosophy doesn’t go the direction with stiff for the sake of stiff. We want the car to be compliant, maintain traction, and remain controllable in any situation.”
There was a lot of focus put into making the new Ez-Fit suspension work well on both the street but still provide an increase in performance. “As comfortable as they are on the street, they’re very capable on the track as well.”
Pedders has a production Subaru BRZ that has four years in the Australian Touring Car Series, and its won every year so far in its class. “This stuff really does work, it just doesn’t punish you for it.”
