Not all windows are created equal — not in weight, not in clarity, nor in strength. Optic Armor Performance Windows has perfected their secret sauce of materials, centered around traditional polycarbonate with one-off, in-house coatings to create windows that check off all three boxes for racers, industrial, and a wide range of applications.

Optic Armor produces drop-in blackout windows, oversized, and flat windows that can be used for custom applications. The drop-in black outs are pre-cut windows to fit specific make and models of vehicles with blacked-out edges meant to hide the body lip, weatherstripping, and window screws for a better look. Their oversized windows are likewise formed to fit the shape and curvature of production vehicles.

This year, Optic Armor has added first-generation Camaro and Firebird front and rear drop-in windows, along with G-body front windows, with other windows in the pipeline for all four sides of G-body vehicles in 2017. The company is also going to dip into the import market. Of particular note is their anti-fog coating, which has been a popular product for the road racing market, as Optic Armors’ Jim Dunham shared. The anti-fog is an interior coating that prevents condensation and is a proprietary formula that can be applied to any window in Optic Armor’s lineup.
